This document summarizes the amendments made by the Act to strengthen the fight against mistreatment of seniors and other vulnerable adults and the oversight of the quality of health and social services (2022, Chapter 6). This law, assented to on April 6, 2022, amends, among other things, the Act to combat elder abuse and any other vulnerable adult (L-6.3) and the LSSSS. This document has been developed to facilitate the understanding of the amendments and additions made by the Act.
