The law on end-of-life care came into force on December 10, 2015 in Quebec. It establishes guidelines for the right access to end-of-life care. It includes the recognition of the primacy of the freely expressed will in matters of care, through the option of advance medical directives (AMD). The objectives of the workshop are to inform the public, to discuss various issues related to AMD. Ultimately, we hope to reach and support the Quebec population in its regional and cultural diversity.
