description:

As a social worker, Vicky Lamarche began her career in the health and social services system, before devoting her practice entirely to informal and family caregivers. Her professional experiences have led her to take an interest in the issues specific to caregivers, mainly regarding work-family-care balance.

Vicky first joined the CREGÉS’s team as a research intern as part of her graduate studies in the summer of 2022. Following her internship, she officially joined the team as a planning, programming and research officer. With her team, she is working on the design of online courses about the characteristics and needs of informal caregivers, as well as the preferred approaches for healthcare professionals and managers who work with them. This ministerial mandate stems from measure 19 of the government action plan for caregivers 2021-2026.
