Description:

As part of the Fonds de recherche du Québec’s Dialogue program, Julien Simard, CREGÉS postdoctoral researcher, will soon present the findings from his project entitled: La maltraitance des personnes vieillissantes dans le parc locatif privé : constats sur un problème méconnu.

Based on these research findings, Julien Simard has produced a podcast, which will be premiered at this event, followed by a conversation. The activity is open to the general public, in particular to those working with older adults, to participate and benefit from a collective listening of this audio documentary and the ensuing discussion. Along with the discussion in French on March 28, these activities aim to raise awareness about the social phenomenon of older adult mistreatment in private rental housing contexts, a subject which is rarely discussed in the media.

Coffee and snacks will be provided.
This discussion will be conducted in English. Click here for details on the French activity.
